A corporate facade in Deerfield, IL, clad in Centria FORMAWALL®.
The Oracle Industries Innovation Lab in Deerfield, Illinois, designed by Nelco Architecture, sets two Centria systems against a facade of glowing translucent glazing and board-formed concrete. FORMAWALL® Dimension Series insulated metal panels, 22-gauge smooth galvanized steel in a two-coat Kynar finish over a poured-in-place core rated R-17 and tested to NFPA 285, form the dark soffits, fascia, and spandrel bands. CONCEPT SERIES perforated aluminum panels, 16-inch ribbed and 12-inch flat, back the illuminated ORACLE signage. G&L Associates supplied, detailed, and coordinated the full Centria package.

Centria CONCEPT SERIES is a single-skin, exposed-fastener panel line built on asymmetrical rib profiles that cast shifting shadow lines across an elevation. It layers over a barrier wall as a rainscreen or accent facade, adding depth and texture where the metal is meant to read as a design feature.
