G & L Associates has an experienced staff to assist our clients with their needs throughout the construction process.
We offer a wide selection of products to select from and offer professional assistance with planning and materials selections. Our estimating team utilizes customized state of the art estimating software to ensure accurate estimates to address the detailed requirements of your project. Our estimates are reviewed with a team made up of our sales, estimating, and construction staff to ensure all aspects of the project are being considered prior to submitting to the customer. Once the construction phase begins, our Project Manager takes the lead responsibility for the project. We use real time integrated construction management software customized for our operations to manage the entire project.
design services
Our project managers will work directly with in-house detailers, or the manufacturers detailers for preparing shop drawings (approvals through construction), fabrication drawings, interpreting digital scans and relaying information to the detailer, fabricator, and installer.
engineering Services
Our project managers and design team work with licensed structural engineers that ensure adequate support members and connections are incorporated per the design wind loads indicated on the plans and specifications for the metal panels we provide if required. We will provide stamped calculations if requested.
budgeting
Our sales team works with general contractors on the front end of projects, in the concept phase, for budgeting cost to provide various configurations of metal wall panels for the products we provide.
value engineering
Our sales team assists general contractors in managing project costs by substituting other products in the event of cost overruns. We suggest other product options that align with the design intent that the architect originally drew in.
Safety is an important part of daily operations at G & L Associates.
Our safety officer is involved early in the planning of our work for each project and ensures safe practices are utilized throughout our work duration. All of our foreman and superintendents maintain up to date certifications in OSHA training. On site, our crews complete a Safe Plan of Action form daily, in addition to a Site Specific Safety Plan that is prepared for each project before it starts.
