CHICAGO BULLS PRACTICE FACILITY – ADVOCATE CENTER

Arenas & Stadiums
Project Overview
G&L Associates provided architectural metal systems expertise and façade coordination for the Chicago Bulls Practice Facility, a state-of-the-art training and operations center known as the Advocate Center. Featuring approximately 33,687 square feet of insulated metal wall panels from Centria in multiple profiles and finishes, the project showcased advanced façade assemblies that integrated into the broader building envelope. The insulated metal panels were a key exterior component linking form and performance, helping deliver a durable, visually cohesive façade suitable for a high-use professional sports facility.
Designed to support year-round training and team operations adjacent to the United Center, the Advocate Center includes two full-size NBA practice courts, expanded locker and training rooms, hydrotherapy and recovery spaces, offices, and support areas tailored for elite athletic performance. The facility also features a significant green roof terrace that contributes to stormwater management and amenity space for players and staff. The exterior envelope, including the metal wall systems G&L supported, was integrated into a metal-and-glass design that connects the building to the United Center campus while providing a durable, low-maintenance skin appropriate for daily professional sports use.
