CENTRIALambeau FieldStadium

Project Overview
The Lambeau Field South End Zone (SEZ) expansion was a transformative project that significantly modernized one of the most iconic stadiums in professional sports. Completed in the early 2000s, the expansion added new seating, concourses, premium hospitality areas, team facilities, and vertical circulation while preserving the historic character of Lambeau Field. The SEZ became a defining architectural element of the stadium, improving fan flow and amenities while reinforcing the venue’s identity as a premier NFL destination.
As part of this major expansion, G&L Associates provided architectural metal systems support and building envelope coordination for exterior components integrated into the South End Zone development. Working closely with the architect and construction team, G&L supported the selection and detailing of metal wall systems designed to meet durability, performance, and aesthetic requirements appropriate for a high-use, high-visibility sports facility. Their involvement helped ensure the successful integration of modern façade materials into a complex expansion while maintaining continuity with the stadium’s existing structure and legacy.
