Project Overview
DeVry University’s Chicago campus features a modern educational facility developed to support degree programs in business, technology, healthcare, and allied fields, reflecting the institution’s longstanding presence in its founding city. A landmark expansion included an approximately 87,000‑square‑foot flagship building that houses classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, administrative offices, and student amenities designed to enhance campus life and student experience. The project was executed while the campus remained operational and achieved LEED Silver certification for sustainability features including a green roof and environmentally conscious design strategies.
G&L Associates supported the DeVry University Chicago project by providing architectural metal systems expertise and façade coordination for exterior envelope components. Working closely with the design and construction teams, G&L assisted in system selection, technical detailing, and integration of metal panel solutions that met the project’s performance, durability, and aesthetic requirements in an urban educational setting. Their contribution helped ensure that façade systems contributed to a cohesive exterior expression while supporting long‑term functionality appropriate for a high‑use campus environment.
