Project Overview

The Promega Processing Center in Madison, Wisconsin is a highly specialized laboratory and manufacturing facility designed to support advanced biotechnology research and production. The building reflects Promega’s emphasis on precision, innovation, and long-term performance, combining technically demanding interior environments with a carefully articulated exterior envelope. As part of Promega’s expanding campus, the Processing Center required materials and systems capable of meeting strict operational requirements while maintaining a cohesive architectural identity.

G&L Associates supported the project by providing architectural metal systems expertise and building envelope coordination for exterior façade components. Working collaboratively with the design and construction teams, G&L assisted with system selection, detailing, and technical integration to ensure that metal wall systems met performance, durability, and aesthetic expectations appropriate for a controlled, high-performance research and processing environment. Their involvement helped translate complex design intent into a reliable, long-lasting envelope solution aligned with Promega’s standards for quality and execution.

This project features Centria's Formawall Dimension Series panels in a running bond pattern on a curved wall on the office portion of this project. The warehouse features contrasting profiles of exposed fastened panels including Super-Rib running horizontally, and Eonolap 3/4" running vertically.
